Okay. Time for a little venting to a computer who doesn’t know what I’m talking about. To a blog site where no one reads what I write. Which is okay with me.

(deep breath, here we go) His name is…… I don’t know. I don’t know! I get that the only reason I don’t know is because he is shy and I am equally or more shy. But he’s the one who came up to me. Twice! He came up and said completely random things to me, twice. And then walked away. The first time, I was dumbfounded. So of course I didn’t know how to react. I was amused. I was happy about the attention. But what was I going to say in return to his body block/basketball pick analogy? Do you see where I’m coming from? And the second time, weeks, maybe even a couple months later, he comes up to me again out of the blue as I’m leaving and the first word to come out of his mouth is “BOOM!”, with that amount of enthusiasm. And he comments on how good the service was and I stand walking next to him just listening and looking up at him, amused once again, smiling obviously, and then he just walks off again. That was about a month ago. So last night, I go by myself hoping he’ll come up to me one last time so I can at least hold out my hand before he has a chance to walk away again and at least get his name. But nooOOOooooo. Does that happen? No. I see him. I know he sees me. But nothing. And there was no time available for me to just go up and say hi to him. So. I’m guessing I wasn’t supposed to? Maybe my focus is on the wrong thing? I know that’s probably it, but still. I at least want to know his name so I can stalk him on facebook. Haha. Seriously though, I feel teased. And I’m upset about it. I don’t like it. But then of course at the same time, I do. Because now he’s a mystery to be solved. And definitely a mystery I want to solve. And I’m a bit annoyed. Which is good. I’m amused, annoyed, intrigued, what on earth did he do to me? Haha. Oh man. Next time I see him, if I get the opportunity, I am going to find out his name. I am going to introduce myself, as nerve-wracking as that will be. I’ll do it. Because then at least the mystery of his name will be solved. And maybe from there, we’ll get somewhere. Ahhhhh geez!

rocky beginnings

Is it possible to get out of debt and save up thousands and sell my car all within 5 or 6 months timing? I got a traffic ticket from those sneaky cameras. Caught me for running a red. Costing me now $518 and also forcing me to renew my expired registration. So lets just add $300 to the pile because it’s just that expired. Had I been smart and renewed it when I got my first notice, $74 would have been the price, but I have a knack for pushing the line and procrastinating as long as humanly possible. Not so wise on my part. Lesson definitely learned.

I also am waiting for my tax return still. Over a $1000 due my way. But I am almost $2000 in credit debt. Blahhh. So. Second job is on its way. McDonald’s maybe? Seems a good option since due to the recession, not many are in the hiring market. The one next to my house is supposedly hiring. I just need them to need a worker for the hours i’m available considering I still have my other job and various other responsibilities to work around.

Rocky start? I think so. Impossible? Not in the least. Maybe this is what they mean when they say you have to want something bad enough. I would work night shifts hopped up on monsters and caffeine uppers if I had to in order to get to Australia. What is it about that place that makes me want to be there so bad? This I will find out soon. In a few months. Lord willing.

Making the dream reality will be tough, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Sooooo. On to another day. Lets hope this one brings about better tidings.. (now i have the christmas carol stuck in my head)

an introduction..

Blogging should turn out to be a nice way to use my love for writing in fun way. I’ll be using it to document and share my experience in moving to Australia. I cannot wait to be there. I’m in Orange County right now, restless, wishing it weren’t so difficult to up and move to another country, but it is. For now. Who knows what lies ahead in these next few months. Lord knows I would be there in a heartbeat with little cash on hand and nowhere to stay, determined to figure everything out once the plane lands. But Lord also knows that my impatience does not always bring about the wisest of ideas. So, here I am, stuck in OC, heart in Aussie.
